Who uses Examora
Examora provides exam and assignment tools to organizations, instructors and learners. Schools and other organizations decide which assessment information to collect and how to use it. Examora operates the platform used to process that information.
Information processed
Depending on how an organization uses Examora, information may include names, email addresses, student identifiers, account credentials, course membership, exam questions, answers, scores, submission timestamps, and exam integrity events such as tab changes. Billing and support requests may also involve contact and transaction information.
How information is used
We process information to authenticate users, deliver assessments, save submissions, grade responses, provide reports, operate billing, address support requests and maintain platform security. Organizations are responsible for informing their learners about exam monitoring settings.
Service providers and hosting
Examora uses third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate the platform. The current project integrates Supabase, Vercel and Stripe. Their roles, processing locations and applicable contracts should be confirmed before publishing this policy.
Access and sharing
Authorized staff within an organization may access student submissions and results based on their permissions. We may disclose information to service providers as needed to operate the service, or where required by law. We do not claim to sell student information.
Retention and deletion
Assessment data may be retained by the institution until deleted or until an applicable retention policy requires removal. Database backups and technical logs may remain for limited periods. Exact retention periods and deletion processes must be confirmed by the operator.
Your choices and requests
Contact your school or organization first for corrections to student records or assessment results. For account, privacy, or deletion requests relating to Examora itself, use the Contact page. Requests are handled subject to applicable law and verification.
Security and international processing
We use access controls and platform security measures, but no online service is risk-free. Hosting location, data transfers, incident notification commitments, and technical safeguards require verification before publication.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when services or legal obligations change. Material changes should be communicated appropriately. This draft requires an effective date and operator contact details before publication.
